Main Designer Category

This year’s Main Designer Category has extended its artwork type requirement, apart from actual products, designers are also encouraged to develop audiovisual works (music, video, animation) and graphic works (poster design, animation, illustration). It is hoped to stimulate diversified expression of the culture of Fuzhou.

Youth Designer Category

To encourage young students actively explore our city’s culture and let them stand out through their unique thinking and voice, the Youth Designer Category was specially set up. This category and its prize is open only for full-time college students （including full-time undergraduates and postgraduates）. There will also be professional support of future market incubation from judges for the winners. The requirement of artwork type of this category is the same as that of the main designer category. The only difference is that participants are allowed to submit soft copy only of their design without the need of submitting the prototype. Therefore, design freely and have fun!

Everyone Creates Category

Through the specially designed mini program, participants can play around the culture blind box of Fuzhou and utilize different cultural elements to create their own design. City is shaped by the people living inside. When most of our citizens start to design and create for the city, the place starts to become fun and attractive naturally.

Wish List Category

The Wish List Category originated from a survey that our committee sent out to our citizens, asking for what kinds of cultural design they would like to see. Through getting to know the market needs, we collected three wishes from our citizen. The designers participating in this category would be asked to design specially for one of these three wishes.
